About Us

This is the story of my life. It is about me, Chris.  I am forty something; a Christ follower, a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a teacher, an artist, and a writer.  It is about John, my husband, a preacher, a teacher and a live-er of the gospel of Jesus.  It is about Julia, Aubrey,  Lila, Claire, Sisi and Nora, my daughters.   It is about Chase, my one and only son and Alex and Eli, my sons in “love”.  It is about my doggy babies, Harry and Tilly.  It is about Milla and Lazarus, two neurotic ungrateful kitties and 3 beautiful chickens- Sadie, Natasha and Peggy.  It is about our little pet patties, Maxie and Willow.   It is about my big extended family- my sister, my nieces, my in-laws, my cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents.  It is about my sweet friends- young and old and every age in between.

Most of all,  it is about God and how he loves me. And oftentimes…it is about God and how he loves you. “I will restore the years the locusts have eaten.”  Joel 2:25 Contact us at: Email address

  1. I just stumbled across Chris’ blog post from January 7th 2015. It was random and unexpected. I was looking for a photo online that quoted Proverbs 31:25, “She is clothed in strength and dignity and laughs without fear of the future.” God lined this awesome blog up for me to discover–I found an image of the quote online, sent it to some friends via link over text, and thought I was done. Yes, I had needed that verse right then to keep me going and to uplift my friends. But then, a little while later, one of my friends responded, saying, “I liked that.” They mentioned something about the writing. ‘Writing?’ I thought. ‘What writing?’ I then found myself opening the link I had sent, to find that along with that image I had found, came a whole article, focusing on the Proverbs 31 girl and a part of Chris’ spiritual journey on January 7th 2015. I am blown away by our Savior. What a guy, what a good God!! And–thank you, Chris. You are amazing. Bless you, and your path!!!
